where is my happiness

?

On Teacher's Day:

No matter how much you learn from other teachers in school or college life, our training starts at home in the lap of our mother. Amongst the first teachers in the world, are at home. Moms teach basics at home and Dads teach, how to deal with the world outside. ..my dad carried me on his shoulders to show me around and kept me tied with his chest when I felt insecure, My Dad taught me how to be generous while being strong with a message that no one can afford to be indecent with you if you are strong, how to always be nice to the neighbourhood as a tough time they are the first aid when you are in trouble? how to take first steps to rally people around for a good cause; being socially active without being politically ambitious, how some of the available time and money needs to be spent on society, how to keep emotions in control; not to dance when happy and not to weep when sad ... At the outside world, every friend and adversary I met, taught me something. Thanks all. You all will remain my teacher, forever. TO TOP IT ALL I CAN NOT FORGET THE SEEDLINGS WHICH MY TEACHERS GAVE IN SCHOOL WHICH HAS MADE ME WHAT I AM TODAY? HATS OFF TO MY TEACHERS AND GUIDES.

ARE YOU HAPPY ??
We ARE all searching for happiness. it does not come with our wishes
In achieving this happiness our attitude in life plays a crucial role. one instance goes like this:----

After years of hard dedicated service to his Company, Ajay was being appointed at an elegant reception as the new Director.
It was a small function where his wife Anita, a Home Executive & some of the wives of the other persons in top management were also present.

In an adjacent room, Ann, the wife of the CEO of the Company, asked Ajay's wife a very odd & usual question; are you happy at the elevation of your husband to directors level? "Does your husband make you happy at home?

The husband, Ajay, who at that moment was not at her side, but was sufficiently near to hear the question, became alert and, paid attention to the conversation, sitting up slightly, feeling secure, even filling his chest lightly in pride & hope, that his wife would definitely not publically lower or degrade her husband, would answer affirmatively, since she had always been there for him during their marriage and generally in life.

Nevertheless, to both his & the others' surprise, she replied simply;
"No, no he doesn't make me happy…" who is he to make me happy?
The room became uncomfortably silent as if everyone were listening to the spouse's response. they all expected some exposure of a sort.

There was a sudden coldness in the air. The husband was petrified.
A frown appeared on his face. He couldn't believe what his wife was saying, especially at such an important occasion for him.

To the amazement of her husband & of everyone!
Anita sat up firmly & explained in a modest but stern tone to the other wives who were present;

"No, he doesn't make me happy… I AM HAPPY. The fact that I am happy or not doesn't depend on him but on me.AND my own thoughts
GOD has granted each of us intellect & discretion to reason, interpret & decide.
GOD made me the person upon which my happiness depends.
I make the choice to be happy in each situation at each moment of my life.
If my happiness were to depend on other people, on other things or circumstances on the face of this earth, I would be in serious trouble!

Over my life I have learned a couple of things:
I decide to be happy & the rest is a matter of 'experiences or circumstances' like helping, understanding, accepting, listening, consoling & with my spouse, I have lived & practised this many times.
Honestly, true happiness lies in being content"

Moral of the story is :
Happiness will always be found in contentment, forgiveness & in loving yourself & others.
To love everyone is difficult, but it is to forgive unconditionally which gives you immense satisfaction, to live, to take the "experiences or circumstances" as they are, facing them together & being happy with conviction.

There are those who say I cannot be happy :
· Because I am sick.
· Because I have no money.
· Because it's too cold.
· Because they insulted me.
· Because someone stopped loving me.
· Because someone didn't appreciate me.

Because someone cheated me and took my money
But what you don't know is that you can be happy even though you are sick, whether it is too hot, whether you have the money or not, whether someone has insulted you, or someone didn't love you or hasn't valued you.

Being Happy is an attitude about life & each one of us must decide!

"LIFE BEGINS HERE AGAIN "

SPEAKING TREE---01012019- 270214

STATUE OF UNITY OF SARDAR PATEL

India is not that poor as people with vested interests made them be, They conceal everything from state and pose as helpless creatures to derive maximum freebies from the Government, which even part of that funds are misappropriated midway by the same rulers who are meant to serve the country?

Even beggars on the street, people in jhuggiis all have all the amenities and the luxury goods, but running on free power and free water, but still, they cry, we have to pay for everything from our nose but have to maintain our dignity some of the housemaids making some 25000/- per month, but they pay no taxes,

since our govt runs on populism, everybody is here a sort of parasite and seldom wants to contribute towards taxes for the country, but want benefits all the time for free, and govt also buys their votes by giving them subsidy on everything, causing huge losses to the economy of the country and growth,

just imagine in a country of 125 crores only 3% give income tax, all others always cry for relief and subsidies out of that collection of 3% ? is it not an irony that as against the US where almost 40% people are in the tax net,

That is why their government is rich and the country is advanced and rich, while India being richer than the even USA but is poor because of our national character and behaviour of being selfish and corrupt that we take pride in tax evasion than paying them honestly, that is why we are just dreaming of arche din but doing nothing to achieve or contribute to that goal individually ?????

"Personally I have struggled massively with the dilemma of talent vs desire. Choosing a desire may not always be the easiest thing to do. It may seem a waste to leave those natural talents behind and strike out in a new direction. But at least you’ll feel alive." "Happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance. If the dispositions of the parties are ever so well known to each other or ever so similar beforehand, it does not advance their felicity in the least. They always continue to grow sufficiently unlike afterwards to have their share of vexation, and it is better to know as little as possible of the defects of the person with whom you are to pass your life."

"I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't think you can measure life in terms of years. I think longevity doesn't necessarily have anything to do with happiness. I mean happiness comes from facing challenges and going out on a limb and taking risks. If you're not willing to take a risk for something you really care about, you might as well be dead."

"The more I know about business, the more I’m convinced that it is conducted in the name of " God " in homes and churches far more than in office buildings." "I have made plenty of enemies in my lifetime, by commenting about them so bluntly, but none has ever done me as much injury and damage as I did to myself.

"It is all very well when the pen flows, it is always better to keep track of your achievements and failures, but then there are the dark days when imagination deserts one, and it is an effort to put anything down on paper. That little you have achieved stares at you at the end of the day, and you know the next morning you will have to scrape it down and start again.

___Who is Happy ???___

A crow lived in the forest and was absolutely satisfied in life.
But one day he saw a swan. "This swan is so white," he thought, "and I am so black. This swan must be the happiest bird in the world."

He expressed his thoughts to the swan. "Actually," the swan replied, "I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colours. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation."

The crow then approached the parrot. The parrot explained, "I lived a very happy life—until I saw a peacock. I have only two colours, but the peacock has multiple colours."

The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him.

After the people had left, the crow approached the peacock. "Dear peacock," the crow said, "you are so beautiful. Every day thousands of people come to see you. When people see me, they immediately shoo me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet."

The peacock replied, "I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happy bird on the planet. But because of my beauty, I am entrapped in this zoo. I AM IMPRISONED

I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the crow is the only bird not kept in a cage. So for the past few days, I have been thinking that if I were a crow, I could happily roam everywhere."

That's our problem too. We make unnecessary comparison with others and become sad. We don't value what has God given us. This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness.
