Golden rule of our life is to accept ourselves in situ .( as it is ) without torturing our selves and blaming others for the state of affairs,which we are in . Don't bother yourself for what you are not.

 our problems emnate  from the very fact that '"we refuse to identify and accept ourselves" and from there on  starts our troubles .

• But if one has knowledge ,of how to make him accept him self,then it becomes easier for him to achieve what he wants to achieve' Realize that you are a normal human being with all the normal successes and failures in your name, as such you will make mistakes every now and then.
• As is well accepted saying "to err is human, to forgive divine" your mistakes are condonable ,if you feel sorry about them. this way you can forgive your self too.
• Some time you are enjoying life and in other moment you are cursing it ,these are normal phases in your life and they will be like this only.Act your best at that moment and forget the outcome.
• As a human being you have to be selfish to meet your own needs before you think of others .

Alexander, the great was a ruthless ruler.  He won almost half of the world by killing and ruining the people and their property, which ever fell in his way, His egoist drive brought him in to a vast desert deep into India.  Having lost his way and having no sight of water days together his thirst was becoming unbearable, endangering his life.  In his quest for water he was wandering around when he came across  a old beggar ,who was carrying a pot of water on his head. On spotting him, Alexander the King begged of him some water to save his life.  However, the beggar asked, “what will you give me in lieu of water”?  Alexander who was dying of thirst and had not seen even a drop of water for almost a week now, offered his half of the kingdom for this favor.  The beggar replied, “Then, come next day as I want not half but whole of your kingdom.”

Alexander panicked and offered him the whole kingdom in exchange for a pot of water.  The beggar laughed and said, “So the worth of your so called empire is only a pot of water?”  Alexander was flabbergasted to hear a philosophy from a beggar’s mouth’ realizing his mistake of having attacked a country thus far, as a fool’s paradise.  He went back but died on his way.

MORAL OF THE STORY IS….

“WHAT WAS THE WORTH OF A EGOIST RULER AND HIS KINGDOM “?  FALSE EGO LET HIM FALL IN THE END JUST FOR FEW DROPS OF WATER!

People hardly believe in spiritual learning, instead there is no regards for a GURU who teaches them.  One such disciple who was learning martial arts and sword fighting from his guru, after sustained vigorous practices the disciple became expert at the art and was quite an invincible sword fighter.

At this point of excellence “EGO Over Powered the Disciple’s Mind,” he became arrogant and

muttered ….

   “Why should I bow before my guru whom I can defeat easily, in sword fight?” instead the impudent disciple challenged his guru to test his strengths with him.  The guru had to accept his challenge ‘.a day was fixed for the fight.  One day disciple learnt from his sources that the Guru was preparing a eight feet long sword for the forthcoming dual , length of the sword was unusual, disciple thought his guru wanted to attack from a safe distance ,as to protect himself from his assaults .  Disciple also got another long sword of ten feet length, However the disciple  was unaware of his Guru’s tactics  ,he did not know that the eight feet long sheath was home to a just one foot long sharp sword.

On the appointed day, as the dual started, the disciple tried very hard to take out his unduly long sword out of the sheath, whereas, the guru quickly took out his small sword from a long sheath and placed it on the neck of his disciple in a jiffy, now the disciple was pleading for mercy from his guru.  The guru not only forgave him but also preached him to keep a small sword always in a long sheath if he wanted to win!  Guru elaborated, “This long sheath is your position in the society ,your high posts etc “ but the small sword denotes the EGO, in other words even if you have acquired exceptional skills, high posts in the world, amassed huge amount of wealth, you should have minimal of the ego element in your life.  Be polite and humble always and bow to your superiors only then you can WIN!
